Sandhurst Fairtrade

In Sandhurst we have formed a group called Sandhurst Fairtrade, our aim is to promote the benefits of Fairtrade for developing countries, in our community, to give talks to voluntary and business groups encouraging people to use Fairtrade products, and to organise and support local Fairtrade events whenever possible. Volunteers run the Sandhurst Fairtrade Group. If you think you can volunteer to help run a stall, write letters, help out at an event… anything! We would like to hear from you! We are a friendly bunch and meet regularly. We welcome new members.

The events that we have had so far are a Fairtrade Coffee morning, and a Fairtrade Wine Tasting Evening, and attended a Fairtrade Evening in the Kitty Dancy room at the Council Offices, a Fairtrade Fare, Fairtrade Chocolate Evening and our next venture is a Quiz with a Fairtrade Fashion Show on October 17th 2009. For more details see Events page. . There is a Traidcraft stall at St Michael's Church every Sunday after the 9.30 service, and we supply the Coffee Spot with Traidcraft products. We have given talks to voluntary groups and Assemblies in Schools in Sandhurst.
