Where can Fairtrade products be bought in the Sandhurst area?

Supermarkets:

Most supermarkets now stock at least some Fairtrade products. If products are not in stock, ask for them

Co-op; The largest range can be found at the Co-op, all of whose own-brand coffee and chocolate are now Fairtrade. Co-op stores also stock Fairtrade sugar, wine, tea, chocolate, cocoa, juice, peanuts and a variety of Fairtrade fruits (bananas, mangoes, pineapples, grapes, etc - the selection varies by season). In addition, they are introducing many new products made with Fairtrade ingredients: biscuits, brownies, cakes… even cranberry sauce.

Marks & Spencer stocks a range of Fairtrade certified foods, including honey, chocolate, avocados, pineapples, mangos and bananas, and wine. Cotton Garments include socks, vests, T-shirts, and Jeans. From the Internet they sell Fairtrade flowers.

Sainsbury's; stock only Fairtrade bananas, coconuts and grapes, Fairtrade wines, Geobars, Divine chocolate, Green and Black's Maya Gold and cocoa, Fruit Passion and J and P Fairtrade juices, Geo-Organics' mango chutney, Traidcraft biscuits and Muesli, wines and many Fairtrade teas and coffees, including own-label.

Somerfield; offer own-label and other Fairtrade tea and coffee, bananas and pineapples, Fruit Passion juices, and Divine and Dubble chocolate.

Tesco; carries a wide range of Fairtrade teas, coffees as well as other products such as Divine, and Green and Black Maya Gold chocolate, Clipper hot chocolate, Geo-Organics' mango chutney, J and P Fairtrade and Fruit Passion juices, Rowse Fairtrade honey, Duerr's Fairtrade preserves, Crazy Jack Fairtrade rice, raisins, nuts, ice cream, Fairtrade wines, and sugar in selected stores. Traidcraft Geo-bars and Muesli. It also has an own-brand Fairtrade product line, which includes coffee, juice, biscuits, muesli, apples, oranges, bananas, mangoes, grapes, pears, pineapples, wine and Fairtrade roses.

Waitrose; carry a good variety of Fairtrade coffees and teas, hot chocolate and cocoa, avocadoes, only FT bananas, grapes, mangoes, pineapple as well as Fairtrade sugar, wines, Tropical Forest Fairtrade honey, Divine, and Maya Gold chocolate and cocoa, Dove's Farm Fairtrade biscuits and Muesli, Geobars, ice cream, spices, baby foods, marmalade and Fruit Passion juices.

Speciality Shops

Oxfam Wokingham offer a wide range of Traidcraft goods including pasta, rice and sugar; they also offer Tropical Wholefoods dried fruits, Maya Gold, Dubble and Divine chocolate, CafeDirect and Tea Direct, and (at Christmas time) Village Bakery biscuits and cakes.

The Coffee Spot, next to the Recreation Ground, now serves Fairtrade Tea and Coffee, gifts and cards.
